Sugar-laden shocker: Greek House Roasted Greek Potatoes

I spotted these at the grocery store, and thought they looked like a yummy addition to my monthly cheat meal. (I loooove potatoes, but they’re not part of my regular diet).

But on reading the ingredients, I saw there was added sugar — the one thing I won’t cheat on. Sigh.

The added sugars total 1/2 a teaspoon per serving. Hello! These are potatoes – WHY?

The ingredients (above) include sugar masquerading under two of its sneaky aliases, plus sugar itself:

  • Corn syrup solids
  • Dextrose
  • Sugar
